According to JI Deputy chief Hafiz Mohammad Idrees, Siraj will contest for a seat in the Upper House from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
Further, he said that an agreement has been reached between the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and JI for supporting the other in the upcoming Senate elections.
Earlier, both the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party had announced their candidates for the Senate polls scheduled for March 3.
The PPP has also reached a seat adjustment with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) for the elections.
