“The federal government would decide whether a case would be tried in a military court or not,” the official said on the condition of anonymity.
According to the Home Department, all of the cases were either related to Taliban or sectarian extremists.
Talking to Express Tribune, spokesperson for Balochistan government, Jan Mohammed Buledi also confirmed that all of cases were related to religious extremism.
The government of Balochistan had vowed to ensure effective implementation of the National Action Plan. The security forces have also launched a series of search operations against the extremists and militants in several areas of the province.
