Police raid: Two arrested for running brothel
A man and woman who were arrested on charges of running a brothel in the urban limits of Haripur.
HARIPUR:
The court of a judicial magistrate granted a one-day police remand on Sunday for a man and woman who were arrested on charges of running a brothel in the urban limits of Haripur. Earlier, on Saturday, police conducted a raid on London Plaza and arrested Gul Nargis and Waqar Ahmed. A criminal case was registered against them under sections 371-B, 419, 420 of Pakistan Penal Code which prohibit prostitution. The accused woman was sent to Central Prison Haripur while Waqas is still being interrogated.
