PEL register 11th win in football league

Afghan FC handed a 3-0 walkover.

Pakistan Elektron Limited (Pel) recorded their eleventh win when they routed Baloch Football Club 3-0 at the Nushki Football Stadium in the Pakistan Premier League as Afghan Football Club were awarded a 3-0 walkover over Pakistan Air Force (Paf).

Pel’s Riaz Ahmed proved to be the nemesis for his opponents, netting two brilliants goals in the 52nd and 68th minute. Their leading striker from Quetta, Saad Ullah, increased his goals tally to nine when he scored the third goal four minutes from time. Pel have now jumped to fourth with 37 points, sharing the spot with Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Afghan FC and Karachi Port Trust (KPT).

The Government High School ground in Chaman saw no play as Paf failed to show up, resulting in a walkover being handed over to Afghan FC.

Today, fourth-placed KPT will take on Young Blood FC, who sit 10th in the league. In other matches Karachi Electric Supply Company will play PMC Athletico and National Bank of Pakistan will face PIA.
