In loving memory: Legal fraternity boycotts courts
This caused difficulties for a large number of litigants and suspects facing trials
KARACHI:
Legal proceedings remained suspended at courts in the city on Wednesday following the demise of former Supreme Court chief justice Naseem Hassan Shah. The legal work came to a halt at the Sindh High Court, the subordinate courts and special tribunals following the bar associations’ requests to suspend work to show respect for the departed soul. This caused difficulties for a large number of litigants and suspects facing trials.
