Corps Commanders' meeting reviews National Action Plan
DG ISI, DG ISPR, corps commanders were in attendance to discuss security situation

The Corp Commanders' Conference held at the General Headquarters (GHQ) on Tuesday reviewed the implementation of the National Action Plan to counter terrorism in the country.
According a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting, chaired by Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, focused on the "effective implementation of National Action Plan in concert with federal and provincial governments, in order to eliminate terrorism, extremism and sectarianism without any discrimination.”
Apart from discussing matters of professional interest, the participants undertook a comprehensive review of internal and external security situation of the country.
All security issues including the progress made in Operation Zarb-e- Azb and Operation Khyber were also discussed in the meeting.
