Ghulam Rasool, a resident of Mohallah Mosabad, told police that Imran Hussain, a friend, had come to his house to see him. He said he asked if he could stay overnight and was welcomed.
He said later at night, he was woken up by his adopted 1-year-old daughter’s screams. “My wife and I rushed to her room and caught him raping our daughter,” he said. He said the man was beaten before he was handed over to police.
The City SHO said a case had been registered. He said the victim had been sent to a hospital to obtain a medical-legal report.
