Extra security: Army manning all entry, exit points to Karachi

Soldiers have taken up their positions next to men from the police and Rangers at the highways.

Since the authorities have failed to install scanners, biometric systems and cameras at all entry and exit point to the city, including Super Highway, National Highway and Hub, men from the Pakistan Army had been sent to join the police and Rangers who are already patrolling the area.


This way the Sindh government and law enforcers hope to foil smuggling of weapons, explosives, stolen vehicles and curb militancy in the city.


Soldiers have taken up their positions next to men from the police and Rangers at the highways and near Hub.
