Teenager dies in Karachi after being hit by cricket ball

Police did not register any case saying there was no foul play involved

KARACHI: An 18-year-old Zeeshan Mohammed was struck by the cricket ball in chest while playing a match in Orangi Town, Karachi and was declared dead by the doctors when taken to the hospital, reported NDTV.

Zeeshan, while batting, was hit in the chest from a fast bowler and collapsed on the ground.

Police did not register any case saying that there was no foul play involved.

The incident is a part of a series where batsman lost their lives after being hit. Phillip Hughes died during a Sheffield Shield match after being hit by Sean Abbot bouncer.
