Army claims win over Baloch FC

Afghan FC awarded walkover against Navy in the football league.

KARACHI: Pakistan Army defeated Baloch Football Club 1-0 in Nushki in their Pakistan Premier League clash.

Meanwhile, Afghan Football Club were awarded a walkover after their opponents, Pakistan Navy, failed to show up at the venue in Chaman.

Hussain delivers the winner

Army’s Imran Hussain scored the first goal of the match in the 26th minute to give his team a 1-0 lead at the
interval.

The home team failed to equalise as Army strengthened its second position in the league with 44 points following leaders Wapda with 54 points while Baloch FC is on the 11th position with 28 points.

Afghan FC move up the table

Meanwhile, Afghan FC moved up to the sixth place in the league with 34 points after Navy decided to skip the match due to political instability in Chaman.

As a result, Afghan FC were awarded the three points and three goals on the table, while Pakistan Football Federation will decide the penalty for Navy at a later time.
