Priyanka Chopra aims for quadruple success

Actor says her upcoming films showcase a “nice variation”.

During 2014, Priyanka Chopra was seen in two films, Gunday and Mary Kom. But this year, she’ll be seen in four different films and the National Award-winning actor is looking forward to it. “This year, I’m doing very good films. I’m very excited about it,” she said on the red carpet of the 60th Filmfare Awards.

Dil Dhadakne Do will release, which is a contemporary story of a dysfunctional family. Then, Bajirao Mastani, in which I play Indian Peshwa queen. I’m also doing Gangajal 2 and Madamji,” she added. “In Gangajal 2, I’m playing Ajay Devgn’s female counterpart. So, I’m playing a cop in the film, and in Madamji, I’m playing a dancer. There is a nice variation of films.”


Priyanka believes that she has always been a risk-taker in her career. “I’ve always been a risk-taker. I used to take risks in my career. Now, I take risks in my clothing and consider that risk-taking,” she stated. All four of Priyanka’s films are from well-known directors. Dil Dhadakne Do has been directed by Zoya Akhtar, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali has helmed Bajirao Mastani. Madamji, produced by Priyanka, has been directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, while Prakash Jha is the director of Gangajal 2
