US military presence in Quetta challenged in LHC

LAHORE: The government's move to allow the US military in areas around Quetta has been challenged in the Lahore High Court (LHC).

Advocate Ilmuddin Ghazi filed a petition in the Lahore High Court against the deployment of US troops in or around Quetta. The petitioner said the deployment of foreign forces inside Pakistani territory is a violation of Article 5 of the Constitution.

Article 5 of the Constitution says loyalty to the state is binding upon every citizen. It also states that obedience to the Constitution and law is the obligation of every citizen, wherever he may be, and for every person residing in Pakistan.

When they cant win, they stab us in the back and now in the chest, as they have just done by drone strikes and getting a foothold in Quetta. Even if it's a small liaison, representative or camp office, it is still not healthy for us. Salams and best wishes.
