Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan, along with his wife Reham Khan, arrived in Makkah to perform Umrah, a minor pilgrimage, on Thursday.

PHOTO: HNL PRODUCTIONSThe couple, who were married earlier this month, were seen in the traditional Ihram, a state which a Muslim must enter in order to perform the Umrah by undergoing cleansing rituals and wearing the prescribed attire. In the photos, the couple is seen moving with some difficulty, as fellow pilgrims crowded around them hoping to get a picture.

@Muhammad Usman Khan: ;-) how do you know he didn't ? Do you have proof from that one picture that he didn't go outside of meqaat and put on his Ehram and then performed umrah? Or perhaps like millions of other muslims, just traveled to Medina first and then came from there to perform Umrah? Please stop passing judgement without sufficient proof.... I'm saying this as a Muslim not a PTI supporter or anything. Passing a religious verdict against someone requires proof which you clearly don't have so please ask Allah swt for forgiveness...

I don't understand the nature of Pakistanis.
If some one is performing Umra they start making comments and if some one else is drinking alcohol, they still make comments on him.
If Imran has gone for Umrah so what is it new about it. Every Muslim who can afford to go to Saudi Arabia has the right either to perform Umrah or Hajj.

Pakistan is a country full of uneducated people - how many of those above who are criticising IK - are practising muslims - how many have performed Umrah-
Give the guy a chance - unlike the looting Sharif Brothers - who have robbed and pillaged the country along with Zardari.

Imran Khan arrived in Saudi Arabia to perform Umra. He looks in ordinary clothes. Did anybody (including HNL tell him that he should wear ihram before meeqat. I think he should read some books before performing umra. This is the basic and compulsory requirement.

It was IK's dharnas which brought on the loadshedding crisis, petrol shortages, terrorism,...Nothing to do with 2 terms of the PPP and the three terms of your beloved PM. @chachoo: I agree with Salman. I have a question that they were doing the voluntary photography or were given the contract to show some piety of the greatest leader of the World?. We all know that HnL founders infact belong from PTI. Also HnL relation with Usman Dar should be known. Anyway congratulations to Imran Khan that he now understood that how to bring the mixture of Religion, Emotionalism and Nationalism into Politics and these ingredients are very important to be Successful Politician in Pakistan.
