Not at all amazed on the *"hope"* being expressed. At max, by 2017, the government can install thermal power plants based on Furnace Oil/High Speed Diesel/Coal. Like in the past, short-termism in decision making coupled with lack of economic sense, projects would lead to soaring power tariff. The rise would lead to rising theft and under-recoveries from the power sector - leading to re-accumulation of circular debt for the overall economy and burdening the common man with higher electricity cost and making ordinary law abiding citizens pay for theft. Hope sanity prevails.
