ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court on Tuesday conducted in-camera proceedings of a case involving the detention of Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, the alleged mastermind of the 2008 Mumbai attacks. A day earlier, Additional Attorney General (AAG) Afnan Karim Kundi requested Justice Noorul Haq Qureshi to conduct in-camera proceedings and keep the record of the case ‘secret’ in the case of Lakhvi, who had challenged his detentions orders. A court official said that FIA Special Prosecutor Syed Husnain Abuzar Pirzada submitted record related to the case and attorneys for both the parties continued their argument for two hours. Later, the court adjourned the case till Wednesday (today).
