The government has decided to reappoint Engineer Arif Hameed for a three-year term as the managing director of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited, sources claimed on Monday.
According to sources privy to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, a human resource consultant firm was engaged for the first time to shortlist the names for the post of MD from the board of directors of SNGPL.
The HR firm proposed the names of Arif Hameed, Agha Sajjad Nasir and Qaiser Jabbar for the chief executive of the utility responsible of supplying gas to Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan, sources said.
