Former champions Wapda remained on fifth position in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) table after playing out a goalless draw with NBP at the KPT Stadium yesterday.


Wapda, who have 33 points after 20 matches, are three points ahead of last year’s champions KRL. With two matches remaining, they are competing with PIA to finish the season in fourth.


Wapda have won nine matches, drawn six and lost five this season, while PIA have 35 points and also have two matches to go.


Meanwhile, NBP remained in ninth with 27 points. They have won seven and lost seven so far.


In today’s fixture, PIA will play Army at the Korangi Baloch Stadium.
