Separate incidents : Three killed across Swat

MINGORA: Three people were killed in separate incidents in Swat on Sunday. According to Mingora police, unidentified gunmen opened fire on Fazal Karim, a tailor, killing him on the spot. Eyewitnesses said Karim was at his shop when the incident occurred. The motive could not be ascertained. Following the shooting, security forces began an operation in the area to search for the culprits. In a separate incident, a woman was gunned down by her sons at Goda Mani area of Kabal tehsil. Insiders familiar with the matter said the motive behind the murder was a property dispute. Meanwhile, the body of a young man was found near a wedding hall on Bypass Road in Mingora. The body was shifted to Rahimabad police station for identification. Following the attack on Army Public School in Peshawar, law-enforcement agencies have reinforced security in Swat. However, the wave of targeted attacks has continued unabated and generated panic among locals.
