A 20-member delegation of female entrepreneurs left for India through the Wagah border. The purpose of the 15-day visit is to meet their counterparts and discuss bilateral trade, non-tariff barriers, and visa policy.
The delegation, under the leadership of Islamabad Women’s Chamber of Commerce (IWCCI) President Samina Fazil and former FPCCI VP Naima Ansari, will also explore business opportunities. Apart from a series of meetings, the delegation is also scheduled to participate in expos and conferences in New Delhi, Agra, Ajmer and Jaipur and meet top Indian trade officials.
Before leaving, Samina Fazil expressed hope that progress would be achieved, adding that efforts are being made for the growth and promotion of trade and economic activities and the establishment of cordial relations between the two countries.
