ISLAMABAD: Gas water geysers without a device called ‘conical baffles’ consume more gas and increase utility bills. Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL), in its efforts to serve its consumers better and reduce their gas bills in winters, has developed a conical baffle to be inserted in fuel gas pipe of geysers, which reduces consumption by up to 25%. The company recommends its consumers to install the device in their geysers and save gas bills, an official of SNGPL told the media. “Conical baffles may be purchased from SNGPL’s regional offices. These are also available in the market with geyser manufacturer’s sellers,” he said. “If you have natural gas appliances in your house, take these steps to ensure that you will save energy and money” he said.
