News Desk January 01, 2015

Policy-makers should develop a national education policy carrying national aspirations and introduce a uniform syllabus to strengthen integration.

This was said by Anjuman Faizul Islam (AFI) Rawalpindi President Mian Siddique Akber after his re-election as head of the non-profit organisation, said a press release.

“We will continue to play a meaningful role for national reconstruction through efforts for development and moral re-armament of the society,” he said.

“The AFI is a reform-oriented academic and social welfare organisation which was established at the behest of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah”, he said.

Akber said the AFI has been making contributions for social uplift and reformation of society by providing best education facilities to the underprivileged children to help them become productive citizens.

The re-elected office bearers of the AFI also took oath for next three years and re-affirmed their devotion to impart meaningful education to the students.
