The ATC-I remanded Kashif alias Bacha, Shahnawaz alias Shanu and Zakaria Rana after the police submitted that they were key suspects in a shootout which claimed lives of three people and left three others injured.
Riaz, Hayatullah and Ali Ahmed were shot dead on March 9 in firing on a hotel in Block-15, Gulistan-e-Jauhar while Imtiazullah, Abdul Ghani and Ismail were wounded in the incident.
According to the prosecution, the suspects along with their absconding accomplice had fired at the Ali Baba Hotel opposite Continental Bakery. They were arrested on Wednesday in a raid conducted on a tip-off.
Four others, identified as Khan Muhajir, Shahzaib, Khalid Iqbal, Furqan Baba and Ubaid alias Chachu, have been named absconders in the case.
The triple murder case was registered with the Gulistan-e-Jauhar police station on a complaint of the state under Sections 302 (murder), 324 (attempted murder), 34 (common intention) of the Pakistan Penal Code read with Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act.
