Two bodies are believed to be of Baloch ethnicity, whereas six of Afghan nationals.
Passersby spotted three bodies lying in a desolated place near Kalzai area of Pishin, and informed the Levies Station, Pishin.
The bodies were later brought to the Civil Hospital Pishin for identification.
“The three were strangled to death before torture,” said a Balochistan Levies official. “One of the men was shot in the head. They looked like Afghan nationals.”
Two more bodies were found in near Khanozai area.
“The victims were shot in the head and their bodies bore multiple marks of violence,” Abdul Salam Achakzai, Assistant Commissioner Karizat, told The Express Tribune. “They looked like Baloch, and were drilled in their heads.”
The bodies were later moved to the Khanozai hospital.
“...I have recovered at least 12 such bodies during the past one and half year, in the same Khanozai area, while several from other areas of Pishin,” he added.
Another official said that the bodies would be shifted to the Sandeman Provincial Hospital, Quetta to determine their identities.
“Balochistan does not have a forensic lab to investigate DNA samples. Hence, DNA samples would be sent to Lahore.”
Balochistan Levies lodged an FIR against unknown persons and began an investigation.
Meanwhile, three other bodies were found dumped near a river in Baghao area of Ziarat.
“The dead bodies looked like Afghan nationals, and were shot dead,” an official of Ziarat Levies told The Express Tribune.
The bodies were shifted to the civil hospital in Ziarat to learn their identities.
“One of the victims identified was a resident of an Afghan refugee camp in Ziarat, whereas others were also Afghan refugees,” the official added.
Talking to The Express Tribune, Deputy Commissioner Ziarat Abdul Khaliq Mandokhail said Levies are investigating the incident.
Earlier on Friday, at least seven bullet-riddled bodies were found from Ziarat. However, their identities are yet to be determined.
According to the Home Department of Balochistan, more than 150 dead bodies have so far been found dumped in different areas of the province in 2014 alone.

Why are Afgans even in Pakistan? They should go back and do their misdeeds in their own country. If we get rid of them, the crime rate will go down by half at least.
