The premier was reportedly briefed about the prevailing internal security situation in the country during his visit.
The military and political leadership came together to chalk out a plan to eliminate terrorists after Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan gunmen stormed a school in Peshawar on December 16 and killed 148 people, mostly students, in cold blood.

@Sandip: what a innocent desire
It is so traumatic to see this Incredibly Shrinking PM!!!
He should just resign if he has an iota of dignity. General Raheel sat at the head of the table!
@Common sense: what could be don for u dear, u don't think beyond imran khan cowardly
@Noor Fatima: ........because he is incapable of thinking by himself.
@common sense I am not satisfied with your answer and I am not talking about this meeting in particular, see all his history meetings he prefers to be with someone like he has no confidence in him, if it was interior minister's domain why did he meet? If he was meeting why interior minister had to be along? He is a strange kind of a leader.. always with someone and has a very very strange body language really not suitable to a leader of any stature.
@Sandip: Such a long remark for a petty matter... Is this what you concluded from the issue...
@Noor fatima Fyi Ch Nisar is Fed Interior Minister., who is supposed to be there when discussing internal security.
( Are you IK fan? Looks like you re)
The PM travelling to the GHQ to meet army chief. Is this a sick joke being perpetrated on the people of the country in the name of democracy? Why did he not summon the army chief to his office and get a briefing there. With weaklings such as these in the PMs chair in Pakistan, is it any surprise that the rest of the world prefers to deal with the army rather than the civilian government?
Why PM always accompany with someone to meet anyone?
