Khan, who hails from Pakistan, said in a Facebook post “The 30K Shorts will be donated to the tragic incident that happened in Peshawar,To rebuild the school!”
"It was just very sad to see innocent kids being killed," said Khan told the BBC.
"I want to donate the shorts for the Peshawar cause, rebuild a school and strengthen security around the area."
The shorts were the most expensive in sporting history. They were designed by Sophie Whittam under Fight Label using 24 carat gold thread which was woven into its waistband.
Khan had worn the shorts during his bout with Alexander in Las Vegas on Saturday night. Calling it one of his best, Khan beat Alexander by a unanimous decision in the welterweight fight.

Please don't do any such thing ...The money will never be used for the purpose you are intending it for ..Instead make arrangements to pay the tuition fee of some High School Grads from the Tribal belt (FATA) who cannot go on to college ....But please don't send cash to Pakistan...Thank you
Am i the only one who finds this stupid? Why not just sell the damn shorts first and then donate money?
Well done king khan.
A very kind gesture by the great Amir khan, Others people must follow the noble cause of rebuilding schools which are destroyed by the terrorists.
