No respite: Govt decides to deport illegal refugees

PESHAWAR: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) government has decided to deport illegal Afghan refugees residing within the province and also close down refugee camps within the jurisdiction of the provincial capital. Officials said the refugee camp at Bihari Colony will be shut down immediately and over one million illegal refugees will be driven out of the province. “A grand operation is on the cards,” an official added. He said police, security forces and other law enforcement agencies will participate in the operation.
