It’s a repeat of last year’s final when a fiery contest was witnessed between the two sides, with more at stake than just the title.
India had been beaten in the Asia Cup final by hosts Pakistan as the visitors made a technical foul and did not accept their mistake. They decided to leave the field at a time when they were being beaten convincingly by Pakistan.
Few months later, both sides clashed in the World Cup final, this time on Indian soil, and as expected there were some fireworks and Pakistan were thrashed in a one-sided match amidst complaints of unfair play against India.
Tomorrow will be no different as Pakistan are keen to avenge last year’s defeat and pride is at stake for both sides.
Pakistan made light work of Iran in their semi-final, winning with ease by a score of 56-28, a surprise given Iran’s strong team, while the Indians thrashed England 54-33.
Meanwhile, in the women’s semi-finals, Pakistan were beaten by India with a score of 47-19.
The hosts will now be up against New Zealand in the final.

Kabaddi is part of our culture. It is famous in our rural community which is 66-70% of our total population. So it doesn’t make sense if you say no one watches kabaddi in Pakistan. If there is any kabaddi match villagers are as excited as most people are in Pakistan for a cricket match.My Cousin insists two or three time to download kabaddi matches. 1- it is physically better than other sports 2- player daily do their Physical practice. 3- Matches does not take much time 4- Part of our culture/Tradition 5- Every player involve in game.

Kabaddi is part of our culture. It is famous in our rural community which is 66% of our total population. So it doesn't make sense if you say no one watches kabaddi in Pakistan. If there is any kabaddi match villagers are as excited as most people are in Pakistan for a cricket match. My father often ask me to download a kabaddi match if he misses a good match. Government should support kabaddi if it wishes to preserve our culture and keep youngster interested in sports. Even today in many Rural Government schools Kabaddi teams are trained by Physical Training Teachers. It is Far more beneficial in physical aspect than any other sport.
What a final its going to be eagerly waitin
@doniya:
It is entertainment, and I am sure billions of dollars and untold amount of hours are spent in Pakistan on other forms of entertainment.
No one watches Kabaddi in pakistan, it's 21st century, waste of time and money which you could use on schools and hospitals. I watched on YouTube they run around touch each others and run again. Funny game but not worth it.
