Toba Tek Singh: Minister inaugurates grid station

FAISALABAD: Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali has inaugurated the 220 kilovolt (Kv) grid station Toba Tek Singh constructed by the National Transmission and Dispatch Company Limited (NTDCL). While addressing the inauguration ceremony, Sher Ali said that this has been constructed at the cost of Rs1.759 billion and will be resourceful for the people of Jhang, Gojra, Samundari, Toba Tek Singh along with other adjoining areas. Consequently, this will help in reducing load-shedding and line losses, increase economic growth, employment opportunity and will help poverty alleviation. He maintained that work on 500Kv Neelum Jhelum.
