Traffic of Karachi is far better than that of Lahore. Its the chaos that is created because of closure of traffic lights, absence of traffic police and obstacles on the roads.
@WhatALogic: Just because they drive a lot doesn't mean they drive well.
@Kdawg: What do you mean " People of Karachi"? We are ten million and from all over Pakistan and we came to do business and jobs. Never heard before that certain "People" dont have the bone to drive, lol. I mean all these people do is drive... its one of the world biggest city and Pakistan's only Metropolis. You will find more traffic jams in a town square with dawgs than in here. This is the only city where people drive smoothly even without traffic police or lights 24/7/365.
It is not the infrastructure. It is the stupid people of Karachi who apparently do not know how to follow traffic rules. I am take a venture to state that most of them probably do not know the regulation of driving. It is the people, Driver License offices, and traffic cops to be blamed.
@Razi Khan: Actually, one can! We had the city shut down for three consecutive days, hence the traffic on the roads today; Sunday being a holiday itself, then because of chehlum on Saturday, and the (forced) shutdown on the day before. The former two are acceptable, but having the city closed due to Khan's fascist movement is not.
And for no apparent reason.
why hasnt anyone blamed this on the dharna in Islamabad yet?
