Special Judge Chaudhry Abdul Qayyum ordered the PAT chief should be arrested in response to an FIR registered by Lilla police station in Jhelum.
According to details, PAT workers had gathered at the Lilla Interchange and staged a protest demonstration on Qadri’s call. The workers allegedly attacked and injured police officials, after which they were arrested and charged under the Anti Terrorism Act.
Qadri is currently in the United States undergoing medical treatment. Upon his departure, dismissing widespread rumours that he might not return, Qadri had said, “I will continue to fulfill my commitment until my last breath.”
Earlier, on September 12, the judge had issue arrest warrants for Qadri and 95 of his followers on charges of attacking and kidnapping policemen.

Judiciary has become a mockery in the hands of PMLN. Another downturn in the history of judiciary in Pakistan. This regime is devastating the institutions of Pakistan from where Zardari left. Shame!!!
@Ch. Allah Daad: You have no shame and I wonder if you are paid by PML-N to spew such a hateful words about those who has the right to protest peacefully. How come no one has been brought to justice after 14 political activists were massacred at Model Town Lahore. In my view the criminals are sitting in Chief Minister's residency. Take my words for it Mr. Daad, justice will be done and both Sharif brothers will have to answer for that massacre in the court of law unless they run away from the country like they have done it before.
These are the very same courts that set free the Lal Masjid terrorists despite all the evidence that they killed Pakistan Army officers, looted property, terrorized the citizens of Islamabad for months, protected and supported Al Qaeda terrorists and gave them safe refuge inside the masjid. This court should not be called ATC but Anti-ATC.
Who ever stands for the rights of poor will be declared "Ishtehari" by our honorable courts, No one knows who was the killer of that Policeman, but everyone knows the killers of 14 PAT workers in Model Town, yet not a single person is arrested. Shame on this justice system.
Looking at the situation "OUT OF THE BOX", it looks like ATC released all terrorist who were captured with clear evidence against crimes that they committed. Unfortunately Dr. Qadri who is against all terrorist with the backing of his historical FATWA against them and the backing of scholars all around the world is for some reasons needs to be arrested. STRANGE JUSTICE with PEOPLE who are given authority to do it. REVOLUTION cannot be stopped with such acts, it will find its way. When fake revolutionary thug was in Pakistan, ATC did not wake up. If court has guts, it should order arrest of other anarchist who has also committed more offences than Qadri.
When was the las time ATC ordered arrest of a real terrorists? ATC, police, courts; personal assets of the political party in power mainly PPP an PMLN. its shameful..
What a shame! torch bearers and front liners of intellectual war against terrorism are declared criminals in Pakistan. Current regime is pro-Taliban... their policy is to attack and prosecute all fighting a war against terrorism and Taliban! Dr. Qadri is a peace activist, he is a symbol of anti corruption! He is clearly anti status quo! He represents the poor class, he gives strength to the weak and oppressed!!! He is a true revolutionist!
