Airport: Bid to smuggle drugs foiled, 2 held

ISLAMABAD:


The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) officials have foiled a bid to smuggle heroin to a foreign country and arrested two suspects.


The ANF officials took Muhammad Hanif and Taj Muhammad into custody at the Benazir Bhutto airport for possessing heroin-filled capsules in their stomach. The suspects were intending to travel to Dubai.


During preliminary interrogation Hanif and Taj confessed to have ingested 50 and 90 capsules.
