Crime of passion: Man killed by wife and her lover

MINGORA: A man was allegedly shot dead by his wife at his residence in Sangota area of Swat late Thursday night. Later, the deceased Muhammad’s wife Saeeda, 27, a mother of two girls, was arrested on suspicion. She confessed to the crime during interrogation. According to a statement she gave to the police, Saeeda was in a relationship with Qeemat Gul, a resident of Chakesar in Shangla district, and conspired with him to plot her husband’s murder. She said Gul entered Muhammad’s house and shot him. The police arrested both the culprits and filed cases against them.
