LAHORE:

Pakistan’s business community has the ability to gain advantage from the European markets by exercising their export potential through the GSP-Plus status, said Centre for Promotion of Imports from developing countries – also known as CBI – expert Marcel Oosterveer.

Oosterveer, while addressing the participants of a trainer programme arranged by Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), further highlighted GSP Plus with reference to the Pakistan economy and explained the implementation of a system to ensure the future benefits of GSP plus for the business community.

He appreciated efforts of the Pakistani government for making enormous efforts to train its officers to help further promote GSP Plus knowledge orientation to the Pakistan business community at large. “CBI have close collaboration with the TDAP for the promotion of GSP Plus facility to the Pakistani exporters so that they may achieve the desirable results,” said Oosterveer.
