Three injured in Bannu blast

Bomb strapped to a motorbike explodes in Saddar area of the district

BANNU: Three people, including a security official, were injured when a bomb strapped to a motorbike exploded in Saddar area of Bannu district on Tuesday.

Saddar police official Iftikhar Ali Shah said the explosion occurred on Bannu-DI Khan Road.

Initial investigation reports revealed that the bomb was detonated through a remote controlled device, officials said.

Security forces rushed to the site and cordoned off the area and shifted injured to DHQ Bannu Hospital.
