Ban: Pillion riding prohibited for Chehlum

KARACHI: The Sindh government has imposed a two-day ban on pillion riding in Karachi on the occasion of the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), which will be observed on Saturday, December 13. According to the Sindh Home Department’s spokesperson, a security plan has been prepared for the Chehlum. Pillion riding will be prohibited in the city on December 12 and 13, while the use of helicam or drone cameras to cover the main procession was also forbidden. Mobile phone networks are also likely to be suspended.
