Gujranwala court hears Sialkot lynching case

Bilal Siddique, the DPO Sialkot, on Monday requested the court to allow the hearing of the Sialkot lynching case to be conducted within the jail due to security concerns.

All 27 accused in the lynching case were presented before the special court in Gujranwala that is hearing the case.

The court recorded the statements of three witnesses, sanitary worker Riaz, constable Afzal and the CMO of the Allama Iqbal Memorial Hospital Dr Farooq. The court adjourned the hearing till November 27th.

The three doctors who had conducted the second post mortem of the two brothers who were killed in the lynching incident failed to appear before the court.

SA | 13 years ago | Reply Now that raises a question.. why did they fail to appear before the court? Not one, not two but all three? First of all they give out a confidential autopsy report then they dont turn up! Something is rotten in the state of Denmark!!!
