Gutted: Fire erupts in cotton factory

KARACHI: A cotton factory was gutted by a fire near Valika Hospital in SITE on Friday evening. According to a fire department spokesperson, they received information about the fire at around 6pm. He added that although they had only dispatched three fire brigades to the site, all fire brigades from every fire station in the city were later called upon to help extinguish the blaze. The blaze had not yet been put out and firemen were still engaged in trying to tame the fire till the filing of this story.
