THANK YOU MUSHARRAF THE COMMANDO!
I thought it was $800 billion. After all, the figures coming out from Pakistan on Swiss bank accounts were astronomical to say the least. Pakistan's GDP for several years couldn't account for that number. But then, numbers coming out of Pakistan are often culinary creations. Even "official" GDP numbers are cooked up.
On Chaudhry Ali Khan Stated in the senate on August 28, 2013:
ISLAMABAD: The interior ministry put the total number of fatalities in terrorist incidents since the year 2002 at 12,795 – roughly one-third of the figure claimed by unofficial and media sources. During the Senate’s question hour on Tuesday, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan announced the official figures. So far, at least 12,795 people have been killed and 28,881 others injured in acts of terrorism across the country since 2002, against unofficial claims of more than 40,000. At least 1,318 were killed in Punjab, 646 people lost their lives in Sindh, 2,810 people fell prey to terror in Balochistan, while the highest number of fatalities was recorded in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa at 3,990. Similarly, 3,851 people were killed in Fata and 180 people in Islamabad Capital Territory.

Now they claim that it is "50,000 lives in the war on terror over the last 10 years." **Which is true?** No one really knows. And why? And how many have been killed in the anti-terrorist operations? One wonders ...
Look at the losses and the great commando sold us on telephone call. That is a proof how visionary he was.
you must end what you started. You created the frankenstein, and you should kill it, what is the point in crying out loud now. Stand up not as a country, but as a proud nation. Then join hands with the entire saarc region. Concentrate on your neighbors not arabs. Help saarc become a counterweight to asean, eu and all those clubs. Stop being a pawn for china, they know money only. You call us baniya and hate us, but they are bigger baniyas than us. Deal with them carefully, we would think about your well being, after all you are our brother, i may be am a hindu, but you are still my brown skin south asian brother, and brothers should look out for each other. Understand the region better, i doubt you understand any other country in this region (except for maybe afghanistan that also from a military perspective) their diversity, their culture, but please try to, please become a good brother. Let the truest form of democracy prevail in this great region that saw the birth of numerous religions, cuisines, cultures, ideas. Please think big, long term and be a part of a coalition with a golden heart. With warmth from calcutta.
If anyone doubted Taliban are not backed by India (and their Afghan proxies), this is the proof.
They should feel the full force of the law.
I wish Pakistan had stopped it's good/bad Taliban policy ten years ago - suspect tens of thousands of innocent Pakistani civilians would have been saved. The Pakistani civilians have bore the brunt of this conflict - not the military - and it's pretty clear now that the terrorist attacks tend to go away when the military goes on the offensive.
And still Pakistanis feel that Musharraff done good things to Pakistan.
I would say $80 billions was transferred to the Swiss bank accounts of the ruling Pakistani establishment.
Why coalition fund given was not enough.....
Would be useful if they could tell us how many Pakistanis out of 50k were killed by (a) Indians (b) NATO forces (c) Afghans (d) Pakistanis (e) Others from the ummah. That could be a useful graphic.
After 11 years of War and 50,000 lives lost , millions of IDPs , millions injured, we are standing at the same point. Militancy has increased not reduced. i remember some sane voices speaking up against army action, drones and wrong policies. They were shunned. They were right after all
