HANGU:

Laptops were distributed in Hangu among journalists from Orakzai Agency on Wednesday.

“Journalists in tribal areas have always played a significant role on the frontline and their sacrifices will never be ignored,” said the agency’s political agent, Zubair Khan.

He said laptops were given by Governor Mehtab Abbasi, adding journalists act like the eyes of the government and people in a country. “Their work has brought major changes throughout the world. Hence, they should be provided all facilities which can help them with their jobs.”

After distributing laptops among journalists associated with Orakzai Press Club, Khan said the sacrifices rendered by the agency’s journalists in Fata will never be forgotten. He added journalists are unsung heroes and the entire nation is thankful to them for reporting from war-torn areas and bringing the truth to the people.
