A professor of Balochistan University had also chanted this slogan, as members of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) distributed laptops to students earlier last month.

SHAME ON TRIBUNE, a big shame for spreading wrong news. I am student of SMIU and i was standing at the time Ehsan Iqbal was leaving university premises. I must mention here that all the people enchanting slogans there were outsiders and majority of them in informal dresses, people knew about the visit of Ahsan Iqbal at university so they might already gathered at entrance & exit gates of SMIU. I clear this that none of student enchanted slogans there. SMIU is academic institution and not affiliated or concerned to any political party. We (students) go for study not be a part of political games.

Freedom of speech and expression is part of democracy.
Thank God the management of the University showed maturity and did not penalize the students- had this been run by people with small minds; just as PML-N; the students would have been dismissed by now-Great to see how the Nation is getting well awared and courageous day by day - thank you IK for waking up this Nation - we just required a push and just see the results!!! the generation ahead will indeed remain indebted to IK for this realisation!
