Bourse business: ISE sees bearish trend

ISE-10 index fell by 81.33 points to close at 3,849.97

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Stock Exchange witnessed bearish trend on Monday as the ISE-10 index was down by 81.33 points to close at 3,849.97. A total of 253,000 shares were traded, up by 56,151 than the previous day’s 196,849. Out of 151 companies, share prices of 99 recorded an increase while those of 52 registered a decrease. The share price of Abbot Laboratories increased by Rs40.94 and Muree Brewery by Rs54. Maple Leaf Cement, Bank of Punjab and Pakistan International Airlines were top trading companies with 105,000, 75,000 and 65,000 shares, respectively.
