KARACHI:
An anti-terrorism court issued non-bailable arrest warrants for four absconders in the murder case of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader, Zahra Shahid Hussain.
Judge Saleem Raza Baloch of the ATC-III ordered the police to arrest the absconders, Junaid Bukhari, Tariq Nawaz, Asif alias Ganja and Irfan alias Lamba, by December 10. The court also supplied copies of the case to the two arrested suspects, Muhammad Rashid alias Master, and Zahid Abbas Zaidi to apprise them of the charges.
On the next hearing, proceedings against the absconders will be initiated under Sections 87 and 88 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The PTI leader was shot dead outside her residence on May 17, 2013.
