Addressing a rally in Gujranwala, Imran warned Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar against disrupting his peaceful rally.
On August 31, a pitched battle broke out riot police and workers of the PTI and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT). The clashes started when PTI and PAT workers started marching towards the Prime Minister House and left three protesters dead and over 700 injured.
“This time I will compete with you,” the PTI chief warned PM Nawaz and Nisar.
Lashing out at the ‘corrupt’ rule of the Nawaz-led government, the PTI chief claimed, “Nawaz will leave no stone unturned to save his rule.”
Imran also claimed to have found new evidence against rigging in the May 2013 general elections and said he would hold a press conference before his ‘decisive rally’ on November 30 to expose PML-N’s rigging.
“After the press conference, we will decide whether to go to the Supreme Court or to the Election Commission of Pakistan,” the PTI chief said.
The PTI chief alleged that electricity rates had double owing to the government’s negligence and corruption. Citing that as his reason for not paying his electricity bill, Imran said, “I am not going to pay for their negligence and corruption.”
Imran not only reserved his criticism for PM Nawaz but also censured former president Asif Ali Zardari.
“Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif have joined hands to save this corrupt and tyrant system,” he alleged.

The PTI leaders desperately want to get arrested and save their faces. It is good that the government is not giving them a chance. Qadri has already wriggled his way out than spend more days among the great unwashed. It is now clear beyond doubt that the masses are not with PTI. Hence, 30th November is also going to be just another storm in the teacup of Islamabad. The only worrying aspect is that the desperation of Imran Khan may lead to some ugly events in his naked thrust for power. This would require continuing maturity from the government. So far the game has belonged to the government.

@JB: I feel nothing but shame and pity when I see people supporting anarchy and mob rule without understanding that no society can wish itself better. People in western society work hard within an imperfect system called democracy and think about the next 25, 50, 100 years. When I see people blame 60 years of problems on the Bhuttos or Sharifs or anyone else, I just see simplistic banter. Citizens are themselves to blame. The West has concluded that Pakistan's 2013 elections were largely fair and free despite some minor rigging that goes on in all 3 rd world countries. The clear outcome was that Nawaz Sharif won the majority. Whether he is good or not is NOT the debate. He won the mandate and no one should upset that mandate until 2018. This is the basic principle that paid PTI commentators here don't understand. Why is that so hard to understand? There is a reason why former PTI members like me who once supported IK are now turned off by his stubborn behavior and devil may care attitude to seizing power at all costs. He is damaging the country and destabilizing the nation's chance at becoming one of the Muslim world's few functioning democracies. Does Imran Khan just want another dictatorship or does he want the nation to become Libya, Egypt, Syria, Iraq or become just another unstable Muslim country? No grow up Imran Khan. This is a fact that PTI lost the elections because this party does not have roots in public. I am 100% sure that it will get defeat again in next elections as well and that will be even more bitter.

P.S For all those claiming that KP is under developed and imran has done nothing, KP has more children going to school than any other province, KP has way less load shedding than Punjab, and KP had the highest approval rating of their government. PMLN had a 21% approval rating in Punjab, PPP had a 17% approval rating in Sindh.

Musharraf is/was pinning hopes on “military backed”, as well as “judiciary backed” interim government after illegally dismissing democratic govt. whereas Imran is also pinning his hope on Army/Judiciary backed coup against democratic government and then wants both Army & Judiciary to hand him the throne.
Both Imran and Musharraf should take note that their sinister dharna drama plans have miserably failed so they should stop embarrassing themselves by retrying the same flop drama again.

Most people who were fooled by his pretty face and big promises and voted for him in 2013 have by now realized their mistake. Even I was fooled into contributing to his hospital - until I had the chance to meet him in person and realized he was nothing but a stupid, vain, power-hungry individual. Why doesn't he reveal this evidence in the courts? Why do a drama in front of the press? IK has not been able to substantiate any of his claims with hard evidence that can lead to conviction. Be it 35 punctures or any other claims - what is missing here is the evidence. When is the public going to wake up to see the emperor's clothes?
