“They [citizens] will have a chance to vote in or vote out any party,” he said.
“All political forces have a stake in the democratic system, and we all know that loyalty to the Constitution is imperative for us, and it is no longer an issue of choice,” the prime minister said in his statement.
Nawaz further said that no system is perfect, but the Constitution and parliamentary democracy are the only tools to remove imperfections in the existing system.
“We will provide a better and prosperous Pakistan when we enter in the election mode in 2018,” said the premier.
The prime minister issued this statement following the statements of protesting parties, as well as the Pakistan Aawami Tehreek's recent remarks alleging that 2015 would be election year.

Keep up stargazing and daydreaming Nawaz Sharif for the next general elections in 2018.Your actions/deeds are indicating the next general elections before 2018 any time Insha Allah Almighty.....
One of his well wisher, and he has quite a few very near to him whom he has ignored on previous occasion, should remind him that democraticaly elected Governments do not usualy complete their terms when they fail to resolve National issues on which they were elected and came to office. They volunteer and resign or forced out of the office, the choice is usualy with the incumbent leader.

Allah save Pakistan from dirty politics of Imran Khan. His politics is full of hate for others.
@Fouzia: Fouzia please refer to my comments to Allah Dad , if it gets published. If I had read your comment before, my response would have been the same. Minds as yours are pathetic.
@Cynic Waheed: If Maryam and Hamza are better than others, I would vote them, if they are not, then I would vote somebody else. Same advice I would give to my children. Nawaz Sharif or anyone else cannot take away my right of choice. I am not a blind supporter like PTI kids.
@Cynic Waheed Not sure what is your logic here and what you are refering to but if you dont like some one you can choose to NOT vote for them. 2018 is NEXT elections and there is nothing that can change that. Vote than for whomever you want.
@abreez: Good sarcasm. I love it.
This man always talks sense. I like him.
My vote for PML-N in 2018 elections. It was my mistake to vote for PTI in 2013 elections.
....what did Obama whisper in his ear ?
Imran Khan can never become Prime Minister because of his politics of hate and violence. He is promoting hate and violence in Pakistani politics.
NS is right. I have converted from a PTI supporter to PMLn for I see NS actually giving a damn and trying to build Pakistan from the dismissal state he got from PPP.
Elections will be held in 2018 and Insha Allah PML-N will win again. All my prayers for Nawaz Sharif.
True, provided you prove last elections were fair and not rigged! Its jungle democracy if you keep winning elections with rigging and claiming throne for five years!
.....so Obama has whispered in his ear.
@ch Allah Daad.. But u would rathar see maryam and hamza sharif to rule on your kids? You crack me up mate! :)
But the anarchists think otherwise. They are desperate and want third empire to raise his figure.
2018 would be the year for Pakistanis to judge and decide which political party to vote into power, if American fail to find any Boney. But if American succeed then every voter will wait for 2030. I will make sure that America will succeed because I and my brother Zardari now have enough wealth that last next 10-15 years. I will make sure that Imran will become next PM in the reign of Boney the sixth and Qadari will become his Spiritual teacher. But as America is playing chess with Almighty who knows this time Almighty show His mercy for poor people of Pakistan.
