Drought-hit: PM seeks report on Thar situation
Health minister fails to provide data when asked about death toll in drought-hit region
ISLAMABAD:
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has sought a detailed report about the prevailing situation in Tharparkar district of Sindh from the Federal Ministry of Health, said State Minister for National Health Services, Regulation and Coordination Saira Afzal Tarar on Tuesday. Tarar, who had called an emergency press conference late Tuesday to inform the media about the current situation in Tharparkar, did not provide any data when asked about the death toll in the drought-hit region.
