Restore Bahawalpur: Abbasi welcomes Pir Pagara’s support

BAHAWALPUR: Bahawalpur National Awami Party chairman Nawab Salahuddin Abbasi welcomed the support of Pir Pagara on restoration of Bahawalpur province.

Talking to newsmen, he said that by announcing his support for the demand, the pir had given words to sentiments of 12.5 million people of Bahawalpur.

He said Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party had used the issue for their political point-scoring and had achieved nothing tangible in this regard.

He said it was the responsibility of lawmakers to remind the government of the promises made with regards to the restoration of Bahawalpur province.
