The United States (US) Ambassador Richard Olson donated chemical monitoring equipment to the Pakistan  Custom's End Use Verification Project (EUV) on Thursday, Radio Pakistan reports.

The equipment will help the customs monitor transportation of both legally and illegally used chemicals.

The equipment includes 80 Toyota Hilux trucks, 160 body armor suits, over 10,000 chemical test kits, five electronic hand-held chemical analysis units, cameras, binoculars and gloves.

Speaking on the occasion, Olson said that the partnership between the customs and US Homeland Security Investigation (HIS) is based on genuine respect and the sense of a shared mission to keep citizens of Pakistan, the US, as well as all the countries around the world safe by preventing the illicit movement of dangerous chemicals.

Another nice gesture that won't even receive a public thank you.

The Toyota Hilux's will all be distributed to high ups just for fun....and the rest will end up in a warehouse to rot..........and the sad part is that the Americans know this but do nothing to ensure it does not happen.
