QUETTA:

Shielding the minority Hazara community against attacks is one of the important issues for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, according to Marvi Memon, the head of the National Assembly’s standing committee on information and broadcasting.

“That is why, I have come here,” she said addressing a press conference regarding the murder of seven-year-old Saher Batool that has shaken the whole nation.

She said police have identified the suspects behind the brutal death of a child whose tortured body was found dumped near a garbage heap in Quetta.

“Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has taken notice of the murder case of Saher Batool. The IGP Balochistan has informed me that the case is nearing conclusion as the investigation is virtually complete,” Marvi said.

Memon said that the perpetrators of this heinous crime will be given exemplary punishment so that such brutal incident does not reoccur.

We need some practical measures from the authorities' if they are sincere, sympathetic and consider us pakistani.Until pragmatic action, nothing will be improved.
