Battling on: Three-day campaign kicks off

Officials appeal to people to come forward and cooperate with their teams

LARKANA: A three-day campaign to administer polio drops to 1,178,250 children under the age of five started in upper Sindh on Monday. The teams will conduct door-to-door visits in five districts to administer the oral polio vaccine. Mobile anti-polio teams will also visit bus stands and railway stations to vaccinate children. Officials of the provincial health department appealed to the people of Larkana, Kamber-Shahdadkot, Shikarpur, Jacobabad and Kandhkot-Kashmore districts to come forward and cooperate with their teams.
