The red-carpet launch of the ‘pleasure spot’ was hosted by Na Maloom Afrad-famed actor Mehwish Hayat.
Hayat, along with the management team, participated in a countdown to officially launch the brand as golden confetti showered on the massive crowd, amid blaring music at the event.

Crammed in front of a stylised counter, guests went on to pick and chose from a plethora of toppings to enjoy the new addition to treats at the mall.
“The idea of opening the Magnum Pleasure Spot in Islamabad is a part of our journey to bring the best to our consumers,” said Shehryar Khurshid, Ice Cream Director at Unilever Pakistan.
The launch, he added, was the third in the country, followed by a similar ‘pleasure spot’ and ‘pleasure store’ openings at Atrium Mall and Clifton in Karachi, respectively.
The Magnum Pleasure Spot offers a total of 18 toppings like sea salt, chilli flakes, and corn flakes and more traditional ones like almonds, sprinklettes, candy bits, vanilla bits, cranberries, coconut shavings and smarties that add a dash of excitement to the regular magnum.
One can choose a flavour: vanilla or chocolate, select a unique Belgian crackling chocolate and then customise it with an array of toppings for a personalised magnum. The thick crust of chocolate, smooth texture of ice-cream, complemented by crunchy toppings makes for an appetising experience.
“We are happy to bring the truly indulgent experience of Magnum to Islamabad. Magnum is all about creating a successful blend of taste, quality and excitement.
We are certain that the chocolate lovers in the capital city will like the experience of tasting the world’s premium Belgian chocolate,” said Asad Malik, brand manager of Magnum Pakistan.
Sameer Khan, a guest at the event, appreciated this new addition to the food court at the mall.

“There are only a handful places that serve authentic Belgian ice cream in Islamabad and one where you can actually control the flavor just takes the experience to a whole new level,” he said.
One can choose up to three toppings for a bar of magnum which costs Rs50.
